If you use a slower shutter speed on aircraft with props you will catch the movement in the blades which stops it looking as though it is gliding in with the engine shut down. Anything at 1/160th or below will work well, particularly with helicopters but it is worth doing

It is amazing it still flies. It is a very good shot, very clear. It looks like taken in the sky.

Thanks. I think I found the best spot on the airfield for photos, just by luck. And he was flying very low.

It's a real plane. It was built in 1933, and is part of the Shuttleworth Collection. The photo was taken at Old Warden in Bedfordshire.
