You are having a good time.This is a brilliant piece of exploration.I know you are too modest to think so,but i havn't seen any another artist pushing into a new direction this way.The surface appears as an enamel unique to this piece only.Perhaps to withstand the shattering impacts the objects encounter on their customary rotations.
