Description
This was painted this spring in preparation for the San Diego Comicon. I was happy with our showing this year in the art show. I had hoped to have a few more pieces finished, but this did have more new paintings and jewelry in it that in the past 4 years. Now to do even better next year!Painted on Masonite with Genesis Artists Colors (an oil paint alternative).

Violetice, Genesis artist colors feel like creamy oil paints. And you can control how they work, as the more you work them the looser and creamier they become. Sometimes you want that, sometimes you don't. It all depends on what effect you are trying for. I love to paint thin, with glazes. As these paints are a heat-set paint, I can choose when they dry. They stay 'wet' forever until heat-set, which means many times I'll put on a new layer, let it sit overnight and then come back to it to see if it still looks nice the next morning. Then I can choose at that point whether to keep the layer or not.

definitely beautiful, I love the colors in this. I've never heard of genesis artists colors, what are they like?
