I like to think of Karin as being woman enough, and crazy enough, to get Sasuke.
I also don't like Sasuke and I like the idea of him being punished. Life with Karin would be punishment. Therefore, Karin gets Sasuke as her bride (heh heh). Life with Sakura would be too kind to the character who hijacked the story that is named after a different character...or, that's my opinion.

I think you're the second person to comment on the shading. I wonder what I did that made it look good this time. The lineart turned out really badly, which I'm regretting now since the shading seems decent.

I read the manga, but back when the anime was far ahead of the manga, I just watched subbed episodes, and my subbers put everything in English. I didn't even know Naruto said "dattebayo" until I read it in fanfiction--I know almost no Japanese and I don't have an ear for it.
