My second 年賀状 (nengajou, Japanese New Year's postcard), for 2011: Year of the Rabbit. This began as idle lunchtime sketching that has evolved into a new tradition. 2012's 年賀状 will be in color.Related content

I'm born in the year of the Pig btw... couldn't have been something cool like Tiger or Dragon... or at least Rat, no it had to be Pig... >.<

My boyfriend is Year of the Boar. It's "Boar" in China, but most people translate it as "Pig." (^^)
I will most certainly be doing a painting for Year of the Dragon. I need to get on it! It's nearly December...! Haha!

Well, boar are much stronger and have a more impressive presence than their domestic counterpart, pigs.
