So do you sketch this out with graphite, scan it, then digitally color it?

That is exactly what I did! I add some scanned texture to the digital color, too.

Sweet! Just checking, I want to try it sometime and work on color schemes. It has such a cool sketchy effect so I wasn't sure if you could get that digitally or what. Either way, very wicked!
