Description Edit: I have made some adjustments to this image. I have also added a print.

So my assignment in my photography class is to photograph a white cup. It can be used in any way. This is just an idea on something that I might do and I want to see what you all think of the idea. It has to be in black and white. I will not be taking photos of this again so it is either this photo or I need to try some of the other ideas that I have for this. Speaking of ideas, I just came up with a really good one. But let me know what you think about this one. Thanks.

Alright so this terrifies me. But once i got over my breathtaking fear of spiders, I couldn't help but examine this photo more closely.
I really like the brief shadow and the concept is most certainly original.

Well the cup was filled up with some cloth so the spider wasn't just hanging there. It did well in the class. I got an A.

You did great on this one. Very nice to see your idea come to closure. Great tones, excellent composition. DOF and sharpness are also excellent. I think, though, that the lighting is the most impressive thing about this image to me. The play of light and shadow is very nice. Well done!
