Looking at the two similar ones here, this is my favourite. Personally I don't find the rock dominates too much, and the composition on this feels cleaner (fewer elements is always better for me).
The light here is lovely.

Thanks. I really appreciate that. It really was a magical morning. The light was soooo soft and barely any movement in the shallow water, you would have loved it.

nice mate - I prefer the other shot thought purely because i find the rock on the right to dominating. I love the pebbles under the surface though.

you've totally out done me recently mate. hats off.

I agree, I really struggled for a comp here, I wanted the pebbles but just couldn't get them without the rock.
Not outdone you Justin, it's not a competition, just different ideas and different eyes. I have been trying some new things. And don't forget I've been slack with going out this summer, had to force myself this weekend.

Thanks.

Calm water there. Nice natural feel...something I find hard to leave alone. I'm a sucker for increasing sky contrast for some reason. I'm taking notes mate

Sometimes there is no need to over do an image. Thanks.

Love how natural this looks, definitely a good idea to keep to a very minimum post processing. Excellently composed with the rocks, and great exposure for the water, very calm, and great to see through the foreground water, with all the pebbles on show.
