In The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe, in the chapter where Aslan is killed on the Stone Table, one of types of monsters listed as being followers of the White Witch are spirits of poisonous plants along with evil tree spirits and People of the Toadstools. I already pictures evil dryads and people of the toadstools and being more plant-like than human-like, so I thought maybe giving nymphs of poisonous plants a more traditional human appearance, but obviously more sinister looking. You know when I read the original book, I didn’t see that initially. And there were dryads/nymphs of poisonous plants? Okay that’s really interesting. I never expected a nymph of a poisonous plant to exist. Usually you hear of these very pretty and innocuous plants like water lilies, tulips, daffodils or dandelions, not toxic ones.
Daffodils are toxic but they are considered ornamental and beautiful anyway, so would daffodil nymphs be evil?
