this is well, a very pretty stock photo. its clean and clear. very nice.

You'll know by now that I love all the images you put up here, but for some reason, this is just one of those that's *perfect* for me. Every now and again I'll see a picture of someone, male or female that I fall in love with artistically. And this is one... I think it's the combination of the wonderful expression on your face, you look utterly natural like that, there's no pretenses, like you're out to prove anything, it's just.... you. Doing what you do best.
That coupled with the wonderful lighting on your arms and hands, the colours in your skin are gorgeous, the ochres and pinks offset by the subtle greens.... and the focal point of that slight sheen on your forehead. You're almost like a John Howard Sanden portrait in life. That's the highest compliment I can think of to pay you as an artist, as I idolise Sanden's work.
I think i's the white that makes the colours so nice. And of course your overall pose and stance speaks to the storyteller in me. Your're like a whole little character sat there, waiting to be expanded upon, surrounded by your own world.
Inspirational stuff... definitely a fave for me.

I think it is not really in the nature of 'stock photography' to give (or generally get) such detailed comments, but it is very nice indeed when one takes the time to point out so eloguently one's impression of a particular image. It is very much appreciated.

Just because it's stock photography doesn't mean to say you haven't put as much thought into it as someone who takes pictures not for use by others. Still a valid piece of visual stimulation as it stands, one of the best for a colour, skin-tone and weapons obsessed woman like myself. And if something grabs my attention as this does I like to let the creator know!
