Description (In response to the size of the image: I am not apologizing.)

A custom map of Hyrule I'm working on. Definitelty still in the WIP stage; some elements from older tile map tests are present and/or reused. It's done in an ALttP style, and several different tilesets are being used, so forgive me for not giving credit where it is due. Also, kinda only uploading it here for storage purposes.

At the center of the map, you'll find Castle City. From the looks of it, it seems as though Hyrule's Castle has gone through 3 or 4 different ages of expansion. The top most center is the actual castle (reminiscent of the original ALttP), it is enclosed within a wall and moat that protects it, the Sanctuary, and a spacious courtyard with four stone ponds. The courtyard will be surrounded mostly by a market place, but will have some homes. The final, outermost ring will consist of homes, a tavern, an inn, and an easily accessible armory or something.

I haven't really fleshed out most of the City, since we're using the map for a table-top rpg, I need to ask the GM what would be in it.

On the bottom left corner, we find a hidden grove with some winding forest area nearby. The top left is supposed to be Snowpeak, but I'm kind of having a hard time finding an appropriate tileset for snow + mountains. Might have to make my own, but meh. No big deal.

East, we find what will be Kakariko Town (no longer a humble village), the cemetery, maybe the Zora Shrine from Twilight Princess, but most definitely also a path to Death Mountain.

I'm putting off work in other ares (ie: Snowpeak, Death Mountain, Zora's Domain, Faron Province, Ordon Province, etc.) until I can find or make more tilesets. The only area I feel comfortable starting on right now would be Lake Hylia or the Desert, but I would like to expand my tileset collection more before I continue any further.

If I ever finish this, and learn a way to code games, I might enjoy making this an explorable map. Not really going to use it for a game, but I'm sure someone would enjoy traversing this landscape should it reach completion.
