8"x11" Mechanical pencil, black ink.

Today's project was practicing the classic Disney-style humans, a style I grew up with and love to this day. I chose my five favorite heroines to sketch and looked up reference images on the Internet for guidance. I was especially interested in their eyes... what was the same between them and what was different.

I drew these characters in no specific order: Ariel, Belle, Pocahontas, Mulan, and Jasmine.

Anyway, since I only have five favorites, I was left with an open place in the bottom right corner, so I decided to draw one of my own characters, Davelyn , in this style.

There. I made some corrections to Belle and Davelyn. Yes, I am much happier with this.
