The Sailor Moon manga was created first = Naoko could not have copied a future CLAMP character who did not exist at the time she started writing Saior Moon.

Funnily enough the manga of both series were released in 1992... So maybe Naoko Takeuchi and CLAMP had a little bit of a cross promotion thing going on XDDDD
