Description Swiped from a bland image online without a background or facial clarity, we choose this picture for reference and because this picture has a nice composition featuring all the good guys.

Mostly it was painted by my wife with a smattering of touch-ups here and there by myself.

I asked if she was painting an ocean shore because the show Lost was coming on and she replied that they're supposed to be mountains in the background. I think it looks fine either way. And when she saw the picture from the angle I was looking at it, she agreed it does look like they're standing on a shore.

There are some textural concerns on the canvas, however. Originally I drew the Sunsword on the wrong arm and so scrapping the paint off on the board with a razor blade makes one of Thundarr's wrist bands fluffy looking. The same texture can be seen on Aerial's forehead and lips, but so long as the risk was working toward a solution of making her face better, I don't mind it a bit. Talk about extreme makeover. She went from having big Angelina Jolie lips to something in the middle and finally I made them smaller. Aerial is supposed to be of Asian descent and I am pleased I think I made her look more Asian than the cartoon counterparts ever achieved. At least now she doesn't look like Hadji's sister, you know?

As Borat would say, "I hope you like."

"I like."

Interesting. Is this from some FILMATION cartoon by any chance? Looks their style.

Thanks for the info. The characters as you drew them just looked quite...Filmation-esque, but maybe "80's-esque" is more correct.
