Last year we had to create a story for school starring three characters, so I came up with a story about aviators and as we worked on these characters for months, I grew attached to them so I had to draw them again ! I'm not comfortable at drawing humans so here they are as dogs, it's like, idk, a parallel universe where they are sled dogs instead of human aviators, it's basically the same story tho. Maybe I could turn them into Balto fan characters ? I should try to find a link with the official characters, i'll think about it.

Jean (the dark dog) is a mutt whose dream was to become a sled dog. Because of her gender and her breed, she only managed to become a "coach" for sled dogs, which was for her still better than nothing. She became the mentor of a lot of sled dogs rookies, including Roy, a young arrogant yet talented husky, secretly in love with her. One day, she met a dog named Grace, full of dreams and ambition, who was more than determined to become a sled dog despite her gender, size and breed. Jean immediatly felt that Grace had a lot of potential, and maybe she could succeed where herself failed. She took her under her wing and taught her everything she knows, unwittingly forsaking Roy, who of course took a dim view of it, specially when he began to suspect that there was more than friendship or a simple mentor/student relationship between them. He will try everything to make Grace fail and to regain Jean's whole attention.

- Jean is a mutt (she has some traits of Belgian Malinois and German Shepherd), she seems a bit intimidating and strict at first (and she is) but she is also really compassionate and protective, she's a passionate hardworker and never hesitate to be honest. She's also very calm.
- Grace is also a mutt, she has floppy ears and some Spitz traits (maybe a pomsky mixed with another breed ? and yes i know she looks like Angel, it wasn't really intentional lol), she's like a "sun with paws", she's full of life and positivity; but behind her ingenuous look, she is really smart and has a big mouth, and also very teasing.
- Roy is a purebreed Siberian Husky, arrogant and selfish, yet with a lot of insecurities. He's a bit implusive but not violent, he uses words to hurt and he's good at it. He feels very lonely and is very aware other dogs loves him out of interest.
