Clothes have never been my strong suit when it comes to drawing, so it’s worth practicing at.

When it comes to Sonic games, I have a love-hate relationship with them. I think that that they contain a lot of creative content; the issue is that most of them do not utilize them in the most ideal way, especially the newer ones. The characters for instance: Sure they have an overabundance of them, but so does Game of Thrones and Harry Potter. The difference there is that they’re put to good use.

Most people these days want the Sonic games to back to basics and simplicity, which is understandable. Sonic Mania was not a success without a good reason after all. But I dunno, simply going back doesn’t seem like the answer to me. For instance, a common critique of Force Awakens was that it was more of a Best Of than an independent movie.

Ergo, I would enjoy that the makers of Sonic gamers make a compromise between the contents of their big selling product, taking what is timeless about it and utilizing it with the inventiveness of today.
