Now I just need to make this clear before I write anything else -- I am a BIG Tim Curry fan. Like, I absolutely ADORE him as Pennywise and I WILL make an airbrush of his interpretation sometime down the road.

However, the reason that I have done Bill Skarsgard's Pennywise first -- is absolute sheer enthusiasm and excitement after I got home from the theater last night from watching the new IT, knowing that I just HAD to make this ASAP.
I. Absolutely. LOVE. This. Pennywise. I love his design, I love his voice, I love his mannerisms, and I LOVE his dancing.
I get crazy Nightmare on Elm Street/Freddy Krueger vibes from this movie and his character, so it's no surprise that I love him as much as I do.
He is an absolute blast to watch, and I left that theater last night with such a big smile on my face I just had to make this as soon as I could to capture that emotion and do his character justice.

I really hope that I did just that, because this was turned out in approximately 4 hours -- partially out of excitement but also out of necessity as I have a convention coming up in less than a week and I had to run prints for it TODAY.
So outside of my POTC 5 Teaser poster airbrush (which I also did in a day)

-- this is the second most spontaneous airbrush I think I've ever made.

This is done on 16"x20" black suede illustration board, using an Iwata Eclipse airbrush, Createx airbrush paints, black and white charcoal, and Prismacolour Pencil Crayons.
