Granted this isn't my best or most realistic piece, but i was trying out some new techniques to give a much more sinister, dark look and to give much rough, scratchier textures so that i could try to portray the role of the joker as much as possible.

I think it turned out quite well, what do you think?

Eraser pencil.

wow!! not even in my dreams i can draw like you my fav details: the line of the hair! is perfect!! the deep of the eyes: make him look disturb, the expression of the mouth!! and finally maybe is my imagination but because of how the lines of the front get togheter with the dark of the outside of the eyes looks like a bat with open wings! just amazing!

My, I love the contrast which this has been drawn with. It's equally spooky as it is immpressive. You highlighted just the right spots, and that can't have been easy with scars like his. Also nice touch on the card and eyes

Thanks again! This one was really quie a risk which i took because i've never really done such a dark and mysterious piece before so this one really took it to the extreme and turned out pretty well, i'm glad you like it

welcome, yeah you can easily mess things up, it was done with charcoal I think?..yeah that easily make things messy.

really, than you got it very dark for graphite pencils, must have cost you a lot of them

Oh my gosh!

I love this so much! I adore the way you set up the composition! The black background definitely adds a sense of mystery and fear, and his eyes are just... omg. The battered and beaten look of his face looks very nice, and the scars are just awesome. And to do this all in a day? That's so cool. <3

Yeah it really does
That means alot I actually had about 3-4 years where i really didn't do any drawing because i just couldn't get inspired, i'd pick up a pencil and wouldn't be able to draw anything decent, only up until about the easter break this year when i finally got a started again, so i'm not gonna stop it

it goes slow. I have a pen piece thats half done from AAAGES ago. again with the tentacles WOOO lol.
I have a monster in the making. Infact I have 2. buttt, it'll take a while for it to be allowed onto DA got alot of tweaking lol xx
