It took forever anyways, though. I think I've been working on this for three days. Buuuuut one of those three days I didn't really do much of anything. .__.
I have decided that I'm taking way too much time on these comics.

I love how we sort of reverse what happens: in yours, Ruk is already beating the shait out of Dino... a bit. But with mine, Dino is beating both my poor babies' asses... a bit. XDDDDDDD

Oh, one more thing I shoulda asked awhile ago: Can DIno actually be knocked unconcious? (since he's a robot and all).

he would have to shut down or 'shut off' to be 'unconsious'
in my audition he was knocked out because his harddrives were reset, which was essentially the equivalent of "restarting" your computer, so to speak.

But what about massive damage to his systems? (like the main hard drives and processors). What would that do if they were damaged substantially enough?

mhm , i think if you destroyed the main processors enough he would just go kaput. and not work properly anymore (but he would probably show signs of malfunctioning beforehand, like twitching and sparking and such) afterall, if you throw a computer off a cliff, it won't turn on again. right? 8D

Ah, okay. LOLz true dat.
But here's what I'm thinking, seeing as how he has a built-in repair system: if his main processors are damaged enough, just before the point of malfunction and/or disfunction, he has one last failsafe: a "play dead" mode, where it seems that he's pretty much deactivated, except a few core processors are still active enough to perform repairs until he is fixed enough to function at required capacity?

well, it takes a really long time for him to repair himself. and it doesn't start repairing until like 30 mins after he's hit, because why repair right away if you're still in battle?
and yes, i think that could work, if the repair system wasn't destroyed. so you mean like he would be destroyed and fucked up and lose the battle and be basically unconsious, and then some 30-60 mins later the repair system boots up and he fixes himself so he doesn't die, or something?

Well it'd be more along the lines of his head (as I assume his head contains the most essential hard drives and processors), so far as penetrating the outer shell and causing extensive damage. And possibly into a bit in his torso as well.

i'm lead to believe that his head has a lot of sensory processors, but most of the control centers and crucial hard drives are spread throughout his upper torso (think: heart) and his head. its not just his head. since his drives were wiped by having the whatever was lodged into him accessing by his HEAD, i assume this because the sensory areas would send all of their information to the core processors in his chest, and i assume this because his chest is a lot better protected than his head is. .__.' buuut its probably near impossible for him to function properly without his head in good shape seeing as how it has all the sensory things (balance/sight/smell/hearing)
i'm sorry if i ever told you otherwise before! essentially what i'm saying is that his "brain" is really where his "heart" would be.
but
if you've already written it out and drawn it out to work at his head and its irreversable, then don't worry about it, because i didn't put this information on his ref sheet.

Okay, cool. ^_^ Heh, something that I probably should have mentioned too (dialogue wise when it comes to Shan and Ruk):
Since they're hermaphrodite, in their cultural mindset gender has little meaning in terms of sexual orientation and things relating to that. So they almost never use masculine or feminine words when talking in another language (so in english, instead of saying he or she, they would say "that human", or "it", since the word "it" in their language is also used when refering to another individual).
