Ctya is icy blue in colour and can glow with a faint inner light in the dark. She has a natural affinity for water and is often seen around streams and rivers. Preferring wild places, she is rarely seen close to towns and cities which seem to weaken her. One of her greatest fears is to be imprisoned (something hard to do but not impossible and requires great evil to achieve).

If ever bound, this species will stedily loose their power and eventually some may even loose their will to live. Even when set free, it may take some time to regain their strength depending on the circumastances and length of captivity.

She essentially good, and local myth holds that she is a positive omen when seen. Intelligent, swift and elusive, she is rarely seen and will avoid those of low moral character unless forced into it. Strongly magical she is a gardian, and although will usually avoid a fight, she will defend her home and the defenceless if nescessary, as those with evil intent cause her great distress due to strong empathy. With a combination of empathy and a degree of telepathy, Ctya can usually communicate with other species if the need arises.

Due to her affinity with water, her strongest magical abilities are in water and spirit areas, her weakest in fire related magic. One magical talent frequently used is the ability to apparently disappear into shadows or bright light.

She has a double horn, split close to the base with the shorter part of the horn to the front. She has cloven hooves and may tred lightly without leaving a print if desired. Much is unknown about these creatures, some people believe this species is capable of flight, despite the lack of wings.

Yes I'm still on my black card and pencil fixation stage I've been wanting to draw a kirin like unicorn for a while now. I know it turned out more traditional unicorn-ish but oh well I kind of like her.
