Description Taken at a friend's.
Actias [Graellsia] isabellae (Saturnidae), caterpillar, 5th instar. Mythic and wonderful species.
It lives only in some stations of French Alps and Spain mountains. Protected by law.

Wonderful indeed. I never saw it in the wild I confess. It's necessary to know the valleys where it lives and moreover it flies only a few weeks in the year, in May.
