Try messing around with markers and a bit of water, this works a little differently than with water-color paint.

I used some tacky stuff that smells just horrid on the areas I didn't want painted right away, you can use rubber cement too, and just rub it off when you are finished with that area. It is actually the first time I used this stuff

Awesome! I love this kind of style, but dripping with dark colours, or even black, is pretty difficult if you're aiming for an effect like this. Thanks for the tip :3 It'll definitely improve my stuff
