Just stretching my proverbial art legs, since I been away from me compy for so long. I painted this one today, a sort of semi portrait of (I am assuming, I found the photomodel it is based on, on her site) (this was all done without permission either... and unless she can read minds, she didn't know I was working on it at all... but I have theories about all that.. *grumble) I don't know her at all or anything, just liked her look alot. I was really into a girl a long time ago with a similar hair cut, and the cute star, and lips clinched it. I know it don't look exactly like her, but feh! Eat my cockwaffle! I was bored. I also stuck out her tongue, cuz I wanted to see it. Mmmn. Kissy. Anyway, enough blather. Here she is, and she looks happy to see me. *sigh*.. how sad. *places cold pistol barrel to forehead and bubbles come out* Shite. *watches TV*Related content

Painter 8? What brushes? It has that look I love so much, the not-smoothed-out stuff... yeah, I know, I suck with words. anyway - love this one, detail where it's needed, "painterly" where it should be to keep it alive. the palette rocks too.

if you got some "step-by-step" or tutorials - gimme a link, I sure would like to try something other then my "oil" brushes and scratchboard tool

hmmn.. yeah, Painter 8, I don't have any tutorials though, I am not presumptious enough to think I can really teach anything.. lol... as for the brush... it is a custom brush altered from the Acrylic brush set to be more smooth, and opaque.
