The Blacksmith Shop

Simple title for an old profession

I modeled this piece after a working blacksmith shop I visited in the Ozarks. Very cluttered, dirty and everything covered in coal soot. The ground was nothing more than coal ashes! Every time he’d pump the bellow the whole shop would light up, the heat was tremendous even at a distance!
