Sailor’s Delight

An old sailor’s saying. Red skies at night, sailors delight. Red skies in the morning, sailors take warning!

Been playing with this off and on for some time now. Was going to put a water woman in the scene, but I just couldn’t get her to really blend well with the sea. I’ll use her in a calmer sea project it’ll be a lot easier. I’ve loved tall ships since childhood. A friend’s bed room had ship wall paper. Oooooh how I envied him. I’d set for hours in his room drawing all the different ships. My mom didn’t know it, but I’d be drawing ships in school instead of studying LOL

Wish there was more tall ships on DA in full sail for stock! I’d like to do lots more
