It's a reference to Twitch Plays Pokemon. It's a stream that plays Pokemon games with a twist, you can enter commands in the chat and they will be put in the game so if you out "a" in the chat it will be the same as pressing "a" in the game. With 50,000+ players you can imagine how hectic things get. Many memes have spawned from it, my comment refereed to the "Flareon Chronicles" in the Pokemon Red stream where the mob decided to get the Eevee and evolve it into Vaporeon since they needed a Pokemon that can surf. Instead, they bought a fire stone and evolved it into Flareon, they went to deposit it and in the process they released Charmeleon and one of their Ratatas. Other Pokemon were deposited but later retrieved. Because this was blamed on Flareon and that it was supposed to be a Vaporeon Flareon became known as the False Profit.

When they did the Pokemon Platinum version Eevee was once again evolved into Flareon and thus the false prophet returned, this time he was redeemed however so all's well that ends well.
