So I only play Pokemon casually. I still buy the games and play them all withΒ one or two friendsΒ my sisters but nothing super serious. I saw this yesterday and just out of control spiraled downΒ the rabbit hole of competitive Pokemon game play. I feel so naive. It's like when I realized competitive Smash64 was a thing all over again. As a reward, I shall tell you that today at work I wrote a function called subSeed() that alternates between logging "App used Substitute" and "App used Protect" when the app is resumed and put it into one of our client's apps. No one will ever notice it, and if they do they'll have no idea what it means, but it is there and it is glorious.Β
