I thought kobolds were too stupid to use magic...and that they were giant hyenas.

Not since these new expanded 3rd edition rules. Now they're kinda a playable race.

I see...Next thing you know you'll be telling me goblins and lizardmen are a playable class. Weird...

Very cool. It's nice; how did you do it? i'm still struggling on Photoshop and with colored pencils.

Haha, it's a little complex, but I start with lineart using my WACOM tablet, then I add basic colors under that. Then I hit the lock transperencies button on the layers tab so I won't color outside the lines and I add my tints and shades (shadows and hilights) over the original colors using an oil pastel brush in photoshop (and under the brush properties I set the fade to pen pressure so you get a better painter-like effect.)

Then I did the same thing for the eyes but went over it a little with the burn tool to make it look more evil and ominous.

Hope that helps a little ^_^;;

Ah... unfortunately, I don't have a tablet... but I do know how to lock a transparent layer. I have a couple projects I'm working on in photoshop right now... I have a couple out there floating on here, but they're not very good, so...

I'm glad your pic came out good! I think i might
