The 2012 landscape calendar is now available . Go check it out!The lake was already freezing along the edge. Two weeks later everything was frozed and hidden under snow. Here's a single-exposure no HDR version for comparison - [link] - I know many people are curious.
Location: Elfin Lakes, Garibaldi Provincial Park, Beautiful British Columbia, Canada.
Equipment: Nikon D90 + Tokina 11-16mm + Tiffen Polarizer.
Technique: Photomatix Pro 4.1 and Photoshop CS5 from 3 RAW shot with AEB +1.5 EV, 0, -1.5 EV exposures.

As always, it's a matter of taste, Ivan. I would use a layer in the screen blend mode at 100% with a layer mask to lighten the center trees and the left hand side also maybe lighten up those flowers on the left a tad. Beautiful work as usual.

It only shows slightly in the sky/mountain interface, you can burn that out using a 50% grey overlay with the burn tool. Π΄ΠΎ ΡΠ²ΠΈΠ΄Π°Π½ΠΈΡ!
