The whole Mewtwo with a spoon thing actually was started in the Pokemon Adventures manga. Like how Mewtwo wearing a cloak is associated with the anime, Mewtwo with a giant spoon has always been a staple in the manga, in fact, the spoon can create strong attacks.

Ohhh okay see I never read the manga- but I remember a user posting a drawing with him and a giant spoon- and I never knew whether it originated somewhere else- or from that guy. I've also never seen him in a cloak (vept in pictures in this club)- but then again I stopped watching the anime after the second mewtwo movie (and I watched lucarios movie) So I didnt know this either. ^^
Now I do- thanks a lot <3

Yeah, Mewtwo with the cloak appeared in the beginning of the 6th film and it has made fans want to see more of him now. As for the spoon thing, its pretty funny and cool, especially in the manga when he fights Deoxys with it.

The 6th movie is Jirachi Wishmaker and its shown in the very beginning and its the best 10 seconds ever. The Advance Battle opening also shows Mewtwo with the cloak in a city alleyway but that was the last time Pokemon showed Mewtwo with the cloak.

Your welcome. Plus, if you read the Firered/Leafgreen manga chapters with the Deoxys saga, be prepared to see Mewtwo with a different personality. He is more lively and active and at times comical.

Oooh I love that kinda thing- sort of like the difference between the baron in "the cat returns" anime movie to the baron in the manga =3
though to be fair I love the brooding somber mewtwo as well XD I will definately have to look into the manga when i get monies <3

I know the manga is online. I just need to remember which site I found it in, and its translated into English. I feel somber Mewtwo is better suited for the anime because he looks like the kind who will become a secret vigilante.

If they have a pokemon based on a clock nowadays, anything is possible.

I think after the third generation (the one with Entei) I grew out of it. I tried to come back in 2009 when it started getting nostalgic and found out that there were now close to 500 character. Upon seeing that, I just threw up my arms and said "Im officially done with this franchise."

The Lucario movie was really good, but I stopped after that one. I also tried to get back into the games, but while they're very creative, they can get kinda boring. Im much more into the games where you actually fight as opposed to commanding other characters to fight. Give me Sonic and Mario and I'm happy.
But I do remember loving the games. It's almost like an interactive storybook cuz the main goal is to progress the story.

yea. I agree with you- but as much as I like all the new features in the newer games, I definately have more fun putting in Red or blue, gold, silver etc.
Also oh yea I saw the lucario movie...that wasnt bad...but yea I guess I stopped there too. XD
