edit two: I've decided to change the team name to something else. For the moment, the team will simply be named "The Alliance", mostly because Posi and Ion don't think of themselves as a team yet! Once they do, I'll probably change the team name again. XD Sorry for being confusing. D:

TEAM BARYOGENESIS
In physical cosmology, baryogenesis is the generic term for hypothetical physical processes that produced an asymmetry between baryons and antibaryons in the very early universe, resulting in the substantial amounts of residual matter that make up the universe today.

Name: Cation – “Ion”
Species: Purrloin
Personality: Cation is suave cat, a chill cat. He’s graceful, elegant, and poised, plus he’s got an ego to go with all that silky goodness. Arrogant and self-centered, not many like him because he thinks that he’s above everyone else. He also tends to do things on impulse, though, which leads to him getting into a lot of trouble. Bragging is an unappreciated skill of his (in his opinion), as is being a lazy bum. Although he’s good at what he does, he usually lacks the motivation to do it. At the end of the day, though, Cation is a caring and sympathetic gentleman – er, cat.

Name: Positron – “Posi”
Species: Murkrow
Personality: Posi is manipulative and quite convincing at times – that is to say, she can be very persuading at times. Obviously to be this way, she has to be very intelligent, and she is. She is analytical, thinks things through (unlike her partner), but her pride often keeps her from backing down when her brain tells her she should. Her pride also leads to her stubbornness and her inability to give up – a persistence that often annoys many, but attracts others. Above all, however, Posi is really just another gal trying to take care of herself in the big world.

Anyways, I chose the name Baryogenesis for this team because... it sounds cool and sophisticated. That's really the only reason. Also, I was thinking that my two characters are kind of like antimatter (antibaryons), and they're greatly outnumbered by the rest of the world made of matter (baryons). Positron definitely goes with the antimatter theme, whereas Cation doesn't, but... "Antiproton" seemed liked too much of a mouthful, plus...
