Print I, Project #2

This is my work for the second project of my print class. It was an introduction to reduction wood cut printing as well as layering colours.

The main theme we were given to loosely follow was that of old print movie posters that were for film noir movies. As well for the project we were encouraged to collect some images and make a college from them.

I had started digitally for this to get all the elements compossed, then did a colour layout in Illustrator to act as guide as I went along.
