Description My brother bought me Star Wars: The Old Republic for Christmas but I didn't get around to try it until very recently. I've played about 12-14 hours and I must say that so far I really enjoy the game.
I wanted to start with a bit of a Han Solo -type of character so I chose Smuggler as my very first class. Oh, and since this was the first time I actually got more choices in the matter, I decided to go for some other species than human.
So here is my twi'lek smuggler/scoundrel, Captain Seela Ven (or Seel'aven as her own people would call her). We just left Ord Mantell a while back and now we're heading to Coruscant to see if we could locate her stolen ship - and possibly the scumbag who stole it, too. Skavak better run while he's still ahead because nobody messes with good Captain's ship.
Anyway, I'm really looking forward to see more of this game. There are so many adventures ahead! (Also, this is my first artwork for 2013 - yay!)

No I didn't since I've just started playing. Not that it matters, though - my Revan will always be a female and doing something completely different.

Enjoying your first effort of 2013, looking forward to all that you'll do throughout the coming year.
There's a very Fallout3 feel with the lime lighting in this pic, gives it a unique perspective to me. Nice choice on the Twi'lek aswell. Enjoy the game and if you've not been spoiled with the plot then keep well away from any mention of the Kotor plot.

Thanks a lot! I really like that after choosing between Republic/Empire you can still choose whether to go for light or dark side - light-sided sith is really something!

Indeed! There were so many instances where a Jedi would automatically assume that my character is evil but she kept insisting that she's not there to hurt them. She always end up trolling and confusing the hell out of any Jedi she encountered lol!

Heck, I like the storyline so much that I'm actually recording the story-mission cutscenes just so that I can share with my buddies and YT subscribers who never played the game!

I've played this game since launch, and I highly recommend you do the Bounty Hunter story after you finish with Smuggler. Really all the stories are incredibly excellent, and Force choking/lightning is every bit as satisfying as it sounds. Jedi mind trick is also awesome.

I intend to! I'll probably end up making character for most of the classes in this game - the smuggler story has been so much fun that I can't wait to try the others.

I did and I like it! Playing solo works surprisingly well, and I have lots of fun exploring and poking at things.

Though I tried to make a sith inqusitor that was somewhat inspired from Kreia... you know "dark side, light side, I hold them for what they are, two parts a a whole" and all that... but i kinda ended up doing all the good deeds.. even reconciling with the my first teacher XD

Do you think the sith will figure me out, when i start growing angel-wings and halo? XD
