"Now let's leave before this becomes our problem."It's the first Christmas full moon since 1977... which got me thinking of werewolves... which, naturally, got me thinking of the Companions. I hope the Circle has remembered to keep an eye on the sky.

I always wondered, after experiencing the common folks's attitude toward wherewolfs, how come everyone respect the Companions so much and nobody seems to have the slightest doute about what they're doing in their little secret cave when nobody's watching.... Well, expect for that one guard who said something once about howlings and fur... Now I understand!

How the Companions keep their secret in Whiterun, I don't know. Maybe they do know, but don't wish to make an issue of it and get killed by angry werewolves?

Top half turns werewolf. They spend the rest of the night trying to stand up right but the heavy upper half keeps tipping them over. That's why single moons do not strike fear into the hearts of Nords.

You know what? Yesterday as I walked my dogs in the field and the clouds had disappeared for that time I watched the full moon and instantly thought of the companions and how funny it would be on a romantic walk with one of them and suddenly he'd turn to a werewolf and start to run in the fields hunting rabbits and deers.
Too bad it's heavy clouds and heavy rain now. :/
