Simply superb pic. :-D

Great homage to three of the most classic TV super-heroes. :-D

Glad you used George Reeves there instead of Christopher Reeve.  He just works better with West and Carter for me.

I think that if I'd have used Reeve, then I'd have to use Keaton instead of West, so that's why I used Reeves.

That's always my thinking, too.  Be great if DC did a Batman 66/ Superman 55 crossover.

Yeah, or a Keaton era comic, much like they did with West's era. That'd be cool to see, and all the characters that were built up but never fully fleshed upon, such as Billy Dee Williams' Two-Face.

would really like to see a Dark Knight Returns type story for 66 Batman.  Older West coming out of retirement after Gotham goes to crap.

Been trying to work that out as an action figure.  I really think Miller was using West's Batman in his story. The timeline would make sense, he'd be 20 years older in the 80s when Reagan was Prez.

Oh, that's interesting, didn't really think about it that way. I mean yeah I guess that might work, but West's Batman was so campy that it might not have been the one that was used in Miller's book, but it could have been a re-imagining of that Batman for all I know.

there were a few little things that got me thinking that, the Reagan bit for one.  Batman telling a kid to watch his language.  Some of his internal monologue in my head sounded like West. The first batsuit he wore.  The cartoon had a few more tips, batphone sound effect was the most obvious.

It's definitely an interesting theory.

Would have made for a cool movie and return to the cowl for West in the 80s.

True, I hope that they do a similar thing with Keaton. That man is my God and the best Batman ever. It'd be great to see him in a Batman Beyond movie or anything Bat-related.
