I really really like this. I love the blackness surrounding them, how her shoes just blend right into it. How they're lit up with passion from the darkness of his twisted mind and her conflicted thoughts about her job and ..him. The placement of their hands seem just perfect, tentative yet almost overwhelming.

I used the darkness simply because their first dates could not be "public" XD In these cases i's better to stay in the dark xD
