sim sim, esse eu fiz depois de terminar de ler um livro chamado "the virgin queen" inteirinho sobre a vida dela. muito bom aliás, pena que non tem em português... gostei tanto d=que arrumei coragem pra trabalhar em todos esses detalhes!! mas é a maior satisfação fazer e ver ficar bom no final!

Uma característica do seu traço que gosto muito é que não importa o quão bufante seja o vestido, dá para enxergar perfeitamente um corpo humano por baixo. Eu adoro moda de época, mas muitas vezes me incomoda ver desenhos e pinturas antigas por conta da anatomia de extraterrestre. @_@

essa coisa dos retrato das mulheres (e dos homens tb) é interessante por 2 motivos:
1- espartilhos, farthingasles, painiers, crinolinas, etc... todos esses acessórios de roupas, inclusive mangas bufantes têm como objetivo moldar a silhueta (geralmente das mulheres) ou também demonstrar status social... com essa modificação da silhueta, nós que vivemos hoje não conseguimos conceber esses "corpos de ET" , mas na verdade , era isso mesmo que se via nas épocas...
tipo, a gente não acredita que as cinturas no século XiX pudessem ser tão finas, mas olha o tight lacing , por exemplo... ( que agora virou fetiche sexual.. aff)
2- Outra coisa que nos faz estranhar é que em cada época, o pintor faz os retratos de acordo com os cânones da pintura de sua própria época e tenta adaptar a imagem do retratado ao que é considerado como o ideal de beleza também da época, que é quase sempre super diferente do nosso agora, daí fica essa coisa tão discrepante

Acho que entendi o que você quis dizer... O que era desenhado podia ser mais mostrando o ideal de beleza da época, mas na verdade as mulheres realmente tentavam ao máximo parecer com os retratos então eram meio assim mesmo... e.e Dear goat, que extremo. Ainda bem que sou um dragão, não tenho que me preocupar com essas coisas. u//u

wel as I read in the book ("the virgin queen"), she dressed the way she did so that she looked like an angel or something holy ( part of her marketing strategy, so that the people would love her and not try to kill her)
I imagine those things have the purpose of representing angel wings or something like an "aura" arround her ^__^
