Oh yes, I did.Darth Maul X Kilindi Matako is my Star Wars OTP!
Kilindi is a character from The Wrath of Darth Maul. Surprisingly, I actually like her. It may have something to do with the fact that she's not some frail little marysue chick.
I believe this is actually the first digital painting-thingy that I've finished, and to my satisfaction. I think it turned out okay-ish, but it also looks really static and posed. If you guys could give me any advice for future stuff, it would be much appreciated.

So I guess I'm kind of necro-posting with this comment but...oh my god. If you ever wanted to draw more of them I would seriously die. I can't get enough of them, and I need an AU where he lets her go after he wrecks the academy, and somehow they find each other again.

What a nice picture. I also have red the book just recently. And I would really be happy if this couple could have turned their love into real be it just for a short time. Actually I'm writing a novel about this love-story. But I have bent the canon a bit to make them happy at least for a while. I don't know if I will manage to publish it yet. But I would be happy if I may use your picture for the cover.

Nicely done. That little bit of "I actually like her?!" amazement is pretty much what I felt about Kilindi too. This is very nicely painted, especially the skin tones. I can see you've put some scarring on her, and it might be nice to do more. The poses do look a bit static, perhaps because although it looks like she's mid-stride she's touching his face with her whole hand - it would have taken a second or so to do that, and maybe if you had just her fingers trailing on him there would be more of a sense of movement. I'd like a more clear expression from him too: his eyeline is a little bit off, so that it looks like he's not paying attention, although the confused expression works.
Nice job making both of them look muscular, and I really like the bright highlights on Maul's skin. I'm curious about your thoughts behind the design of her outfit: I don't quite remember in the book, but I was under the impression that in prison-camp style everybody in training there wore the same thing.
This really is painted very well, and I think I don't have quite enough words to explain that I think the lighting's good and the detail on her tendrils and collarbone really stand out. Nice job on the anatomy of the back of the hands. Good work. I'm always happy to see more of these two.

Thank you! For the outfits, I wasn't even thinking about what they'd wear for training, I just sorta made up outfits
The back of her hands is the last thing I ever thought I would get complimented on. I absolutely HATE drawing hands so I usually just hide them. Hands are pure eeeevil...
