well i mean how else would you explain why not only the hands seems to be shaped like humans but also seem to be wearing cloths

i have a theory about why hunters don't have eyes or should we stick to a single individual ? just hunter ? in the sacrifice comics it is revealed that infected see survivors as these really spooky scary monsters. perhaps once he got bitten, the hunter began to suffer illusions and see everyone around him who wasn't infected as some sort of demon, this terrified the hunter so much that he began gouging out his own eyes so he can't see the ''demons'' anymore
