Description This is a Water Elemental Dragoness sitting by a water fall

This drawing is for Elemental Dragon Contest [link]

This is a 14"X17" piece of drawing paper.
The drawing was done mostly with Crayola Colored Pencils. Which took about 20 hours of drawing and coloring.
I worked a long time to on this, so I'm also going to put this in the
This dragon was originally going to be on a rocky coast. But then I decide to put it in front of a waterfall so I could also put it in the Monthly Dragon Challenge.

the leaves and the splashes look photoshopped still a nice drawing, though, like the colors and composition.

This drawing was too big for my scanner, and water was spilled on it before I could take a photo of it so I used Photoshop to cover the waterspill marks. Where the grass and flowers are along the bottom edge and the right edge. After I fixed the right side with Photoshop leaves I had to use them on the left side to make it look consistent. And I also used photoshop on the water splashes.

Thats one of the most beautiful dragons I've seen you produce.
Her spines are just so gorgeous! the colours melt into eachother so wonderfully.
I really like the little splashes and droplets of water flicking off her, it gives her real movement!
I'm not sure why, but I think my faveourite piece of this is her pretty twirly horn

The spinefins and scales took a lot of pencil pressure to blend the colors. I had fun doing the water droplets. I'm glad you like the horn

Pretty, I like how you used that light blue to make scales more outstanding, not to mention the work with water. Btw you really are good in blending the traditional and digital media

I used 4 colors on each scale, and a lot of pressure to blend the colors evenly. I spent a good deal of time on the digital work to get it to make the drawing look better and cover a water misshap along the edge.

I see, I use a lot of pressure too( usually after that I have throbing thumb) and also mix colours (you did well at this part) . Btw, I really can't see any water mishaps, though I maybe a little more variation of colours is needed in waterfall but, again they could cause too much blending of dragon and background, anyways, it's a good drawing

Oh, I also know the pain of creating art. My wrists were very sore while I was coloring this drawing. I am ambidextrous, and even switch hands to draw and color this didn't help to relieve the ache of appling enough pressure to blend the pencil colors, I think Crayola pencils are a bit harder to blend than Prismacolors.
My little niece spilled water along the bottom edge of the drawing.XD The paper warped a bit during drying, which I covered up with grass and flowers
