Description Been a while since I upload a fully XNA picture because I'm too stuck with Blender most the time. LOL ~~
So, here it is. The only real deal of Devil May Cry. ( DmC fanboys, come at me bro ~~ )
How cool if someday CAPCOM make a game and the three of them are available to play? Imagine that.
Whose your favorite character all the time? For me, it's been hard to pick.
I played this game since the first DMC was out. Judging the characters growth over the series, it's all fair.
I really hope someday that CAPCOM bring this classic back. Not that shit previous title that shouldn't be in the list.

And can someone delight me please? I read on the Wiki where it stated that Nero is the son of Vergil.
Whether it's cannon or not, there must be some prove right?

" Nero has some sort of connection with Sparda, due to the connection he has with the Yamato and his alleged place in the Sparda bloodline. While the exact details of this have yet to be established by Capcom, the Devil May Cry 4 novel contains "hints" that Nero is Vergil's son, and this claim has allegedly been confirmed at "Captivate 2009" by one of the Capcom employees who worked on the game's localization." - The Devil May Cry Wiki

So, how true is this? And the point?

SPECIAL THANKS TO :
- CAPCOM for all of the original model.
- for the Dante model.
- for Vergil model.
- for Nero, DMC 4 - Platform Stage model.
- for Yamato, Red Queen model.

Couldn't agree more. All DMC hardcore fans are dying for the next game. Including me and you if you were a fan of original DMC.

If there was a real Devil May Cry game featuring all three descendants of Sparda together, that would mean that Nero is going to have to give back Yamato to its rightful owner.

I refuse to accept that rubbish about Nero being Vergil's son. The DMC4 novel is to me non canon. It would have been a better idea for Nero to be Dante and Vergil's younger half brother. I would say that Sparda had Nero in secret so that the demons would not target him.

Oh well Resident Evil 6 went right ahead with this dumb idea except with Wesker and Jake. I don't think in that game they ever mention who is his mother. Excella Gonne?

It is amazing and a wonderful sight to see more defiant people such as yourself who continue to support the original Devil May Cry series.

It's true. But Nero still got his devil arms. I think that's enough for him to keep the pace on the son of Spardas. Besides, we can see how he grow stronger on the game yet it's not clear how he learn his origins.

I did not think it's 'rubbish' when it comes to this. I did my research before pointing and asking this out Nero-Vergil relation. But it's just a speculation. Whether it's cannon or not, it will be interesting for Nero character growth. I bet he's bloodline relation to Sparda is far better (half demon and half human) than the DmC protagonist it self (primarily because he is a nephilim, half demon and half angel). That is just ridiculous and absurd.

It doesn't matter what universe we pointing out. We know this is just the strategy to make the storyline better to captivate it's fan. DMC got his own story to tell. There's many plothole on this series as well but it was acceptable mainly because it is well received for the fan as well.

Thanks for that but there's still many people out there who is like me. Better than me discussing this. We're not the story maker. We live to tell the tale.

Well it only goes to show how little research Ninja Theory did. If they bothered to use Google or check Wikipedia they would know that a nephilim is a half angel half human hybrid. Now thanks to that mistake, people have the wrong idea as to what these beings are.

At this point it doesn't matter anymore since we will never find out the answer.

Maybe it was just their marketing strategy but guess what? These people don't like it, so they change the fact about these beings. And I don't really like how they make Sparda suffer in their own storyline. How can Mundus just outpowered Sparda and tortured him?

That just doesn't look too good. Sparda is the reason why Dante start putting his belief on humanity. He might got the 'brutality' of his father but he too, embrace the kindness of his mother. That is why he sided with the humanity. I don't see the point why he should be 'rebooted' to something that doesn't even outstanding and well known acceptable anymore.

Ahh reminds me of the days I spent reading forums regarding Nero's origins and his connection to Sparda, after I finished DMC4. I badly want Capcom to continue the original franchise.
Anyway, do you know about the DMC4 novel? I have never read it but I read the summary on devils-lair.org. It kind of implies that Nero is Vergil's son. And also that Vergil had visited Fortuna years ago. But I also read that the author no longer works at Capcom, (however he did when he wrote the novel), so cannot say if it is canon or not.

Oh my ~~ Thanks for the info. Really did help there. All I know is Nero is have the same traits as Vergil. Lust for power, a protective person, a same power (the devil trigger they have shows some good hints there but still a mystery), a person who put away his life first before himself. I unfortunately, haven't read the novel. But if what you say is real, then I really hope that Nero is the son of Vergil. That would be really epic and awesome for the character growth. The storyline wasn't so perfect(not in a bad way), because every plothole is missing. The real chronological in order is DMC3,DMC1,DMC4,and lastly DMC2. DMC 2 somehow doesn't convince me though. I never really see the point that Dante depends on coin tossing to make his decisions. Playing that game to end doesn't really ring a bell to me too. I mean it's not logic when he fights the giant blob monster in hell.

Oh, and about how Nero is supposed to be Vergil's son: I've heard scattered bits from people more knowledgeable about DMC4's development that Nero was intended to be the deceased Vergil's son. But, the developers suddenly had to rewrite the entire game script due to 1 entire year getting hacked off their development time. They must have had no time to explain how Nero could be Vergil's kid and decided to heavily imply it, instead. The game would have been far grander if only they'd had more time to make it.

I agree. The story will be more cannon and outstanding if they continue the series. I still hope that this will be continue someday cause I don't think that DMC 4 was the ending to the series. There still much to be clear.

I was always expecting DMC4 to be expanded upon, but then that reboot garbage got thrust at us. I still want more of the original DMC and I only hope one day there will be.

You're not the only one my friend. People all around the world wants the same thing as you. I don't like the reboot shit either. I feel like my teenagehood been slap in the face and a middle finger to all of us old DMC fans out there.

This is really cool! I love how Vergil looks, but his face shape is nothing like the Dante standing right next to him. It does look like Vergil from DMC3, though.

Yep. That Vergil is from another game. Ultimate Marvel VS Capcom 3. Heard of it? That's why it's different from the DMC 4 Dante.
