Fanart of my FAVORITE classic Nick live action series "The Adventures of Pete and Pete"Dear god I loved this series.

It showed back in the 90's, a time back in mah day when Nickelodeon used to be awesome... ;__;
About two brothers (with the same name XD) and their everyday, 'normal' yet sureal life, friends, and adventures, in the small american suburban town of Wellsville.
Eheh, I didn't try to get perfect likenesses of the actors Mike Maronna and Danny Tamberelli, but more put them in a pseudo-cartoon style that I kinda hanker over.

When did Nickelodeon stop being awesome? It was such a gradual thing... We didn't know what was happening until it was too late.

I love this show so much! Oddly enough, it brings back memories of me living in Maryland...
Anyways, my favorite thing about the show is that it's not trying to be funny; it's just trying to tell a story as if it were from a kid, and I think that's the charm a lot of shows like this had back then. The artwork here's amazing as well; I think you really did capture the likenesses of Pete, Pete, and Artie.

Oh boy, this one sure takes me back...great to see a bit of recognition for this series. In similar fashion to what Kids Next Door did to the age-old conflict between kids and adults, P+P took everyday facets of suburban life (lawn sprinklers, trips to the Hoover dam, bowling ball heirlooms) and made them epic, legendary. Great fun, and nice piece.

The nostalgia! So much...but so GOOD!
I practically grew up on the majority of Nick shows from the 80s (in rerun form) and 90s. Of course, I technically consider myself to be a 90s kid. Anyway, "Pete and Pete" was one of the many fave shows of mine in the early 90s. I even remember watching the cast grow up!
