I always past this precious on the way to work. I always take an alley to work and this baby is always there peeping under the fence. One day I got the courage to knock on the door and see if anyone owned the pup. Well I dropped food off one day seeing as no one answered the door and I called the local rescue to come check up on her. Well before they came to get her I took this photo and promptly nicknamed her "Kiya-Inu" but Kiya for short and you'll be happy to know she has a happy home with my mom and step-dad.

Wow....seriously dude, I love the bit of red coloring on the gate, it definitely compliments the rest of the blue-green color. And the dog looking out you makes the photo that much better....uhh..this is the first and only time I'm ever going to say this but uhh....dude this is seriously cute....good job..

This is a gorgeous shot. The dog's bright blue eyes really stand out and he has kind of a mischievious look on his face. It's very adorable and the story behind it makes me all fuzzy inside. Favezeled

i think you've captured the mood well. the dog under the fence looks so curious and full of hope that one day it'll have some friends to play with. It makes human 'grovelling' so stupid and pointless. we should all learn from that dog

I realize that this is not an abused animal,
but something about the red paint above
gives a starch contrast like blood.
