About this picture:

I find really creative and well thought the Idea that Nami protects Shukaku and Gaara. Being a child whose life has been on a ledge all his life, Gaara lacked support and understanding for most of his life due to being a Jinchūriki. I think having someone ACTUALLY PROTECTING AND CARING FOR HIM, Is something you see rarely in many Naruto Oc's nowadays.

Yes, there are Naruto Oc's that have Gaara as a love interest, but loving someone doesnt just mean that you only just open yourself to them or care for them, you are willing to put yourself in their shoes, you are willing to protect them, you are willing to stay there for them no matter what happens, and most of all, you are willing to comprehend their ways without judging them, I think Nami is so much like that, a loving girl that loves and accepts Gaara for who he is without having a second look, she understands him, and I think someone doing that to Gaara, or even Shukaku, is something that melts my heart.
