Description I made this as a christmas gift for my mother, i am usually pretty slow when it comes to gifts mainly because if i can't find the inspiration to make something then nothing gets made and ive never liked the idea of buying something that isn't food for someone as a gift.

The amulate is Bone, i can't quite remember what kind but it is probably cow bone. I carved out the hole first then hammered a piece of copper until it was nice and thin to make it easier to shape, then carefully shaved off bits until it would fit in, then glued it in place. The cord is everyone's favorite plaited linen thread!~

The idea of having a piece of cow bone as jewellery is interesting... it definitely works here though. It looks very awesome. Great job!
