When she was about 12 she started properly helping out around the farm and the Ryokan. Her parents taught her to work hard and get the job done. She was also taught to be smart with money and how to make changes. Carrying all of that heavy farm equipment plus a bit of weight lifting helped her gain a bit of muscle and made her quite strong. When she was 15 her mother gave birth to her two younger siblings, Shizuko and Hinata. She gladly helped to care for them as her mother was a tad weak from birth. A year later, when she was 16, her wealthy aunt gave her parents a call, offering to pay for Sachiko to come live with her in Tokyo and attend the pretentious Ouran Academy.
