I made a poleaxe! The shaft is a field hockey stick. The axe head is a circular saw blade. The thrusting point is flat stock steel. The butt is salvaged steel and quite heavy. The balance point is about 2/3 down the shaft from the tip. It's quite lively in the hand.Related content
