Description
This artwork was commissioned for printing on a t-shirt. Hence the fade to the black of the shirt, the irregular border and the main focus of the image being in the top section which will print around the chest area.The subject is based on the Nazgul from Lord of the Rings. A great subject from an amazing book, so a pleasure to paint

New Witch-King of Angmar. Awesome as the Nazgul are, this one is too awesome to be a "common" Nazgul. That's my opinion.

I love the Nazgul, but I'm really sorry to tell you that you made hime look miserable with that split cap and the red eyes. Also, the 'spiky' coat looks way too unnatural, especially to the upper right corner the coat looks like it's made out of metal rather than cloth. The lower highlights on the neck and jaw of the dragon are out of place, you sould burn it there into the shadows.
Also, those last pencilstrokes on the wing are too much in contrast with the smudge-painted skin, wich is too smooth by the way.
The background looks too much like a poster or a wall drawing on the wall to wich the nazgul is standing.
Integrate them more.
