Since I haven't been able to model anything recently, I did this as a little exercise before approaching some things I have going on.----------
One of the oldest traditions in Austreydian society is the "aavaciix", which means "battle of truth". When two parties have a disagreement that cannot be solved by any other means, they will appoint two champions to fight each other in a ritual duel. These duels are not to the death - originally they were fought until first blood, later this was replaced by various conditions of defeat, as well as a point system similar to fencing. Since it is not the intention to injure or kill the opponent, the tradition of aavaciix spawned a variety of non-lethal weapons designed specifically for use in ritual duels.
One such weapon is the uxot'oox (three spikes). The tips of the tridents are rounded off and not sharp. It is designed to catch and control the opponent's weapon by hooking it with the barbs or catching it between the prongs where it will be hooked by the third, shorter spike.
