here are my actually favorite works under the theme "Angels and Eternity" 
It's quite a very special theme because it's surrounded by a mytical atmosphere.
And all this works show the amazing atmosphere.

Just looking at it seems to make the viewers blend in with her emotions, her sadness and loneliness speaks volume of what is being felt within her, and by adding that rainy effect makes it all the more beautiful and poignant. There is certainly more beauty in sadness than happiness. Very well executed my dear Ksenya and congrats on the DD, I must say it is truly well deserved!

the composition is strong and the idea well executed. but above all im more interested about the great effort to create a soft but intense lightning and great effort to create interaction between rain and enviroment.
im not fan about angel works because this concept about angels is so abused and im bored about this topic....but of course when i see some of really visually interesting and well executed like this work im always happy to see it
to conclude the beautiful details makes the difference here!

Reminds me of my beautiful poetry
A excerpt from chapter 2 of my book "From The Throne That Bleeds" that i find a relation in with this image... I hope you read it and enjoy
I slowly approach the bed
Gently grasping her hand
A whirlwind starts spewing
From her once still lips
Sucking me inside
Her darkest dreams
Looking about the riddled mess
I see her standing alone
Trapped on a island
Surrounded
The waves crashing down
Clinging to a dead tree
All broken and twisted
Rooted in the rocks
But then I notice
Two budding leaves
Side by side
I know that I must save you
But no matter how
I try to reach you
The current keeps pulling me
Further and further
Away from you
So I reach deep inside
Calling to my soul
It appears by her
Gently grabbing her hand
She turns to look
But it seems no one is there
I know you can feel me
I know you want to see
Now I know it must be...
Embrace what you feel
Embrace and all will be well
Even if you don't
Then in you I drown
I can't think of a better way
To go down
Focusing on her weary face
Her worn hands
With chipped nails
Clinging ever so tightly
To what had withered
I swim like never before
Finally making it ashore
The clouds started dissipating
The waves began calming
The tree is blooming
Walking towards her
I get pulled to my soul
With my body coming into focus
She unclenches the tree
Staring upon my face
Stepping back startled
Her eyes meet mine
Never noticing
The storm has passed
It has taken me so long
Just to find you
It's been brick wall
After brick wall
Slowing me down
Wave after wave
Washing me away
Trying to reach you
She suddenly reaches out
About to grab my hand
And I get whisked away
Spewing me back out
I reassemble myself
Standing there I look at her still body
Ever so peaceful
My heart starts beating, Rapidly
I see you
Not like they do
I see you
Breaking through
Take my hand
Rise from this wasteland
